John 19:5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!

Dispensational teachings, teach that Jesus is not King of kings right now?

Exactly. For one to believe that Jesus Christ and His disciples failed to fulfill all (100%) of what they needed to do in the first century, then that would leave some things undone. Jesus speaks about coming into His Kingdom;

Mat 19:28

"And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. "

Dispensationalists aka Futurists interpet the above as having to take place in the future. If Jesus is not king of all then He is not King at all.

In the book of 1st Samuel 8:7 the children of Israel go to the prophet Samuel, and demand a king.

Samuel is greived over this decision, and prays to the LORD.

The Lord replies in verse 7 of chapter 8 in 1st Samuel

"And the LORD said unto Samuel, Harken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have NOT REJECTED THEE, BUT THEY HAVE REJECTED ME, THAT I SHOULD NOT REIGN OVER THEM."

In 1st Samuel chapter 8 is where we have the children of Israel rejecting the Almighty God as their King of kings.

In the book of Deuteronomy 17:14-15  are written the rules for Israel in the event that she would ever take a king.

Deuteronomy 17:14-15

Deu 17:14-15 When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;

Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.

Israel was never to take a king that was not of the flesh and blood of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. They were admonished by God Almighty that it must not be a stranger. Just as Solomon was not to take to himself foriegn wives, because they would lead him into idoltry. So is the reasoning that God had that the children of Israel not have any king that was not bone of their bone, or flesh of their flesh.

1st Samuel chapter 8 is Israel's first time they would reject their God, and King, and take a king from their own blood line.

John 19:15 is Israel's second rejection of God robed in the flesh of Israel's blood line. Israel would reject their King once again, and one of their own breathren. They would reject their King Messiah, and accept a pagan idol worshipper instead.

John 19:15

But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

In the book of Acts chapter 3, the Apostle Peter preaches Christ unto those in Israel and tells them that he wished that Israel's rulers (Herod, The Sanhedrin, and Pontius Pilate) and the children of Israel crucified Messiah through Ignorance, but Peter goes on to tell them that he knew that they knew what they were doing.

Peter then goes on to say that Jesus fulfilled everything that concerned himself within the prophets.

Peter then tells those of Israel to repent, and so they would be converted, Acts 3:19-21

Act 3:19-21

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; "

And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Peter admonishes Israel to repent, and that Messiah would return to them with refreshing from the presence of the Lord, but as we look at verse 21 we are told about the restitution of all things. Jesus fulfilled what needed to be fulfilled as the atonement, but there needed to be a restitution of all things. First the King had to receive His Kingdom in glory. This we are told in verse 21 was spoken by the mouth of all the prophets since the "world" or "age" began. If we look at Acts 3:24 we see that the prophet that started that age was Samuel;

Act 3:24

"Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days. "

The age of the kingdom rule going from God to Israel, and in Jesus Christ the Kingdom is returned.

The final and worse crime of crimes is when the nation of Israel rejected Her King and chose a Pagan Caesar.

The Harlot had filled her cup to over flowing with blood. Now it would be only a matter of time before she would pay for her final adultery. The Roman Caesar that she took over her Husband Jesus Christ, would come and lay her even with the ground with her children within her.

Dispensationalist throw that all into the future, and with that comes another rejection of the one and only KING of kings, but Jesus did not fail to fulfill Matthew 24:34, Jesus is ruling and reigning in His church right now! The generation that saw and heard Jesus and His disciples preach did not die off until ALL WAS FULFILLED!

Behold the MAN who saved us from eternal DEATH!

Behold our King Jesus the Everlasting Father, who gives us eternal LIFE!
